Discovery Networks Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA), a division of Discovery Communications has appointed Amanda Turnbull as the new Managing Director for Discoverys Arabic cookery network Fatafeat.
Turnbull will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Fatafeat and become the primary point of contact for day-to-day business development.
Turnbull will manage the Fatafeat team from their new office in Dubai Studio City and work in partnership with the senior Discovery Networks CEEMA team in London and Warsaw. Amanda will report into James Gibbons, SVP & Country Manager, Emerging Business, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.
After an extensive search to find the right candidate, we couldnt be more pleased to welcome Amanda to the team, ready to take on the exciting position of Managing Director at Fatafeat, said James Gibbons.
Amanda will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Fatafeat, spearheading the networks Ad Sales and overall business goals in order to cement its position as the number one food channel across the Middle East.

Amanda has over 20 years experience in the media industry, having worked in ad sales, marketing and branding for various types of media in territories across the globe, from Asia to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
