The inception of “Arbaeah” was not merely a coincidence but a result of passion and a relentless pursuit of excellence, said Maher. Ahmed Maher, alongside top content creators and voice talents from various corners of the globe, embarked on a journey to redefine the landscape of podcasts and amplify authentic Arabic content.
Maher added: “From the onset, the team was driven by a vision to make a significant impact in the realm of audio content. Countless brainstorming sessions were held to carve out an identity that would set the Arbaeah Podcast Network apart from its counterparts.
“The initial concept of the name “Basmah,” meaning “fingerprint” in English, was intended to convey influence and uniqueness. However, it fell short of capturing the essence of the network’s vision and future aspirations. This led to an extensive brainstorming process, culminating in the birth of the name Arbaeah Podcast Network.”
Far from being merely a name, “Arbaeah” embodies the very philosophy of the network. Derived from the Arabic word for “No. Four,” it signifies a commitment to offering comprehensive content catering to all age groups and podcast enthusiasts, transcending geographical and seasonal boundaries. The name reflects a pledge to deliver top-notch programmes and diverse audio content, characterised by intricate detail, compelling presentation, and immersive storytelling through sound. As encapsulated by the slogan, “Wherever you go, Arbaeah contains you,” it promises an enriching experience that resonates with audiences worldwide.
On July 7, 2023, the Arbaeah Podcast Network officially commenced its journey, unveiling a plethora of shows spanning various genres such as news, kids’ stories, true crime, women empowerment, self-improvement, health alternatives, history, Islamic teachings, travel, and more. With almost 222 episodes under its belt and ongoing productions, including a fictional historical series, the network continues to captivate audiences with its thought-provoking content.
