Following the introduction of on-site certification at ISE 2011, InfoComm is again offering attendees of Integrated Systems Europe the chance to take their Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exams at the ISE 2012 venue.
A limited number of exam seats is available on all three days of ISE 2012 Tuesday, 31 January, to Thursday, 2 February, inclusive and attendees can choose from CTS, CTS-D (Design) and CTS-I (Installation) certifications.
Scott Wills, InfoComms director of International Education and Member Services, says providing on-site certification is a natural extension of InfoComms ever-expanding programme of ISE education sessions.
The availability of so many courses that carry RUs (Renewal Units) for CTS certification at ISE means that the show is a great opportunity for attendees to get the extra training they need and then take their exam, while spending very little time away from the show floor, Wills believes.
The exam rooms will be located in ISEs new Education Zone, just steps away from Hall 12 of the Amsterdam RAI and in the same building as InfoComms classrooms, making the logistics of on-site training and certification easier and more accessible than ever.
All three CTS certifications are internationally accredited under ISO/IEC 17024. As well as increasing their technical knowledge, CTS holders often now benefit from preferred status when bidding for projects, as increasing numbers of technology consultants now specify CTS when issuing tenders for business.
Matthew Cordner of Absolute Technologies, who sat his CTS exam at ISE 2011, comments: As an annual ISE attendee, being able to take the CTS exam on-site made my overall return on investment in ISE even higher than previous years. I am proud to have earned this international credential to prove my knowledge in AV, undoubtedly benefitting Absolute Technologies and my career.
Seats for CTS exams at ISE 2012 should be reserved in advance and are available on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
