3d-berlin in cooperation with eyefactive will present a 3d multi-user wayfinding system at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) fair. This system reportedly exceeds the dimensions of previous 3d-technology. The combination of 3d wayfinding technology ‘Guide3D’ and the multi-touch software and hardware from eyefactive allows visitors to interact and control the system.
An example of a kiosk-based, wayfinding solution can be found in the Alexandrium Woonmall in Rotterdam. This new multi-user guidance system was designed to be a three-metre long multi-touch table system. It allows several users to simultaneously explore the building due to the graphics, functional menu and the interactive way in which the system delivers information about the location of shops and how to get there.
