Avid has appointed NMK as their Pro Audio Division Distributor in the Middle East. NMK will reportedly build on Avids audio presence providing support in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman UAE and Yemen, among other countries.
The distributor will add Avids audio tools and workflow solutions to its existing portfolio (Avid Pro Tools | S6, Avid Pro Tools | MTRX, Pro Tools | HDX, Pro Tools | S3, Pro Tools | Dock, Pro tools | HD and Pro Tools Software). NMK already manages the Live Sound family of solutions, the release stated.
Underscoring the importance of the partnership, Rocky Solarta of NMK Electronics said: We will be able to offer the best solution possible utilising the wide range of products offered by Avid. If there is one DAW that every studio needs, its certainly Pro Tools.
NMK reportedly aims to grow the market share of Avid Pro Audio in the region using modern marketing and business development techniques focusing on the latest digital B2B partner portal tool developed by their in-house team of experts, along with educating the market by organising workshops, seminars and hands-on session for clients and public. NMKs team of experts also plan to work with educational institutions across the region to nurture and support future AV professionals.
