The deadline to submit a short video is by February 15.
Bahrain’s National Space Science Agency (NSSA) has announced a short film competition to celebrate the successful launch of its first nanosatellite, Light-1.
The kingdom launched its first-ever satellite last month – a joint project between the NSSA, UAE Space Agency, Khalifa University and New York University Abu Dhabi.
The nanosatellite will be used to conduct research during lightning storms that will help civil aviation safety experts in the future.
The film competition invites filmmakers and content creators to make a short educational and inspirational two-to-three-minute video about the achievement.
All submissions should be sent to nssa.competition@gmail.com. The last day of submission is February 15.
