The extension of the agreement builds on 17-year collaboration between beIN and the NBA.
BeIN Media Group has renewed its broadcast partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), extending its rights to air NBA games across the Middle East and North Africa. The agreement strengthens a 17-year collaboration that began in 2008, ensuring fans in the region continue to enjoy comprehensive coverage of the league’s biggest moments.
Under the renewed deal, beIN will continue to broadcast regular-season games, the NBA Playoffs, Conference Finals and the NBA Finals. Coverage will be available in Arabic, English and French on the beIN Sports network and the group’s streaming platform, TOD.
Speaking about the partnership, Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of beIN MENA, said: “Our broadcast partnership with the NBA is one of the longest and most valued in our portfolio, and we are proud to continue bringing the best of basketball to audiences across the MENA region. This renewal reinforces our position as the global home of sports and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering world-class, multilingual, and multi-platform coverage to viewers.”
Matt Brabants, Senior Vice President and Head of International Content Partnerships, NBA, added: “We’re proud to extend our broadcast partnership with beIN MENA to bring the excitement of the NBA to fans across the Middle East and North Africa. Through live games, highlights, and original content available in Arabic, English and French, fans will continue to enjoy unprecedented access to the league’s most thrilling moments.”
NBA fans can already tune in on beIN Sports for matchups including the New York Knicks vs. the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers, with weekend fixtures featuring the Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, New York Knicks and Orlando Magic.
The renewal follows beIN’s recent extension of NBA broadcasting rights in France, a partnership it has held since 2012, reaffirming the network’s role as an official NBA broadcaster in 23 countries.
