All AFC content, from AFC Champions League Elite to AFC Asian Qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 will be shown on beIN Sports across the entire Middle East and North Africa.
BeIN Media Group has unveiled its long-term coverage strategy for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), extending through 2032, while streamlining its programming to broadcast all Asian football content exclusively on its flagship beIN Sports channels across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The new cycle kicks off with the opening round of the AFC Champions League Elite (ACL Elite) and AFC Champions League Two (ACL Two) on September 15-17. ACL Elite, Asia’s top-tier club competition, will feature national league champions including reigning titleholders Al Ahli of Jeddah, who host Uzbekistan’s Nasaf, while Japan’s Vissel Kobe travels to face Chinese champions Shanghai Port. Meanwhile, ACL Two begins with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr taking on Tajik side Istiklol and Singapore’s Lion City Sailors meeting Indonesia’s Persib, promising an exciting start to the campaign.
In addition to the continent’s premier club tournaments, beIN’s rights package covers the full breadth of AFC competitions. These include every round of ACL Elite, ACL Two and ACL Challenge League, along with AFC Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cups in 2026 and 2030. Fans can also look forward to two AFC Asian Cups, including the 2027 edition in Saudi Arabia, two AFC Women’s Asian Cups, and a wide range of youth tournaments across men’s and women’s U23, U20, and U17 categories. Coverage also extends to the AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers for Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032.
All matches will be delivered with in-depth studio analysis and enhanced production from beIN’s state-of-the-art facilities, broadcast exclusively across 17 MENA markets, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Qatar, Morocco and Tunisia. Non-exclusive rights also extend to six additional territories, among them Iran, Mauritania and Sudan.
BeIN’s relationship with the AFC began in 2010 and has since grown into one of the most comprehensive broadcast partnerships in global football. Running until 2032, the agreement strengthens beIN’s sports portfolio in the region, which already includes rights to UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, LALIGA, Ligue 1, AFCON and other global competitions.
Mohammed Al-Bader, Managing Director of the MENA Channels at beIN, said: “Our rights package with the AFC is unrivalled and we are delighted to confirm we will broadcast AFC Asian Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027, and eight more years of elite Asian club competitions all on beIN Sports. Being able to broadcast our Asian Football Confederation coverage across the entire Middle East and North Africa all on beIN Sports is hugely significant for beIN and our business, cementing beIN as the home of Asian football in MENA.”
