The 18th edition of CABSAT had a successful end, a 3- day event which truly captured the essence of the digital media industry in the MENA region. Latest products and services were showcased by the leading industries in the world of broadcasting and satellite at the expo held at World Trade Center.
This is the biggest ever CABSAT weve ever had, and we are really pleased with it, said David Roberts, Industry Group Manager CABSAT.
With over 400 exhibitors from around the globe, each one offered a unique element to the ever-growing digital market. The most talked about launch was that of Canon Middle Easts EOS C300; a motion picture camera that is a game changer. With its great image processing and lenses, it distinguishes itself from the rest of the equipment in the film production industry.
As part of the CABSAT academy, a number of workshops were conducted daily such as the GVF Satellite MENA summit, the twofour54 Tadreeb workshops and masterclasses in association with BBC Academy and the Vendor presentation theaters were available for visitors and exhibitors to attend for free.
CABSAT, this year definitely provided the platform to build connections and network with leading digital media industries. A number of exhibitors used this grand exhibition to launch and showcase their products and received an immense response from attendees of the event.
