The online event will be launched on January 12 and will last for two days.
The Dubai International Content Market (DICM) has announced the launch of an exclusive event, called E-Ramadan Content Market, at the beginning of 2021.
The online event will offer a platform for buyers and producers of all media content for the Holy month of Ramadan.
The announcement comes in line with the new approach for DICM which aims to provide a dedicated platform to support all Ramadan related content for specific media outlets.
The new event will be launched on January 12 and will last for two days. The organiser of the event, INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, confirmed that holding such an event is timely for the region to have most of Ramadan’s content acquisitions ahead of time especially since the event is held three months before Ramadan.
The event will feature exclusive screenings, pre-event content browsing, virtual networking with selected clients and pre-scheduled e-meetings. The event is expected to have more than 150 participants from 17 countries.
The objective is to provide broadcasters and other content platforms with an engaging online experience that will optimise their business interactions for Ramadan programmes.
