The service gives Etisalat postpaid and prepaid customers the convenience of going unmetered when streaming videos and pay by the minute for time used without consuming from their plan allowance. With Play on Demand access customers do not need to have a Wi-Fi connection to watch content of their choice on their mobile, with speeds up to 3Mbps optimised for high-definition videos.
On the launch Khaled Elkhouly, Chief Consumer Officer, Etisalat, said: The launch of Play on Demand service for our postpaid and prepaid customers now gives them more control of data usage, while at the same time giving them the freedom to enjoy watching their favorite online content on the go. In the new offer, subscribers can break free from their mobile data limits and pay by the minute for streaming videos giving them transparency and flexibility with their data plans.
