Harris, which has begun its Middle East roadshow in Dubai, will tour Erbil next week before going on to showcase its solutions in Kuwait and Oman. Harris claims to be one of the first manufacturers in the broadcast industry to take its roadshow to Iraq. The event will be held from May 14-15 at Erbil International Hotel.
Speaking on the sidelines of the roadshow in Dubai to BroadcastPro Middle East, Said Bacho, vice president of Harris Middle East and South Asia, said the manufacturer has always enjoyed a lot of success in Iraq.
We have never hosted an event in Iraq before although we have worked on several projects there, especially for small and medium business TV stations, stated Bacho.
We have invited customers from across Iraq including Baghdad, central and south Iraq to join us for the roadshow in Erbil. There is a lot of activity in Erbil now and we expect more growth in that market, Bacho added.
