Following the arrival of Lionel Messi to Paris Saint-Germain, BeIN Sports MENA gained a staggering 76%+ rise in viewers of Le Classique on October 24.
This 2021/22 campaign has already seen a rise in interest in the French top flight after the six-time Ballon d’Or winner arrived in the French capital this summer.
The Premier League has also recorded viewerships linked to Messi. The clash between Manchester United and Liverpool saw a growth of +111% on the same fixture last season.
