LiveU, a global leader in live IP-video contribution, production, and distribution solutions, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Actus Digital’s business and technology. The move is set to significantly bolster LiveU’s recording, monitoring and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, accelerating its goal of enhancing customer operational effectiveness and unlocking more value from video production.
Actus Digital is recognised worldwide for its intelligent monitoring and compliance platforms, widely used by leading broadcasters and media organisations. Its advanced content analysis, Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring and AI-enabled tools will now complement the LiveU EcoSystem—a suite of IP-video solutions designed to improve efficiency across the entire production chain, from multi-camera 5G contribution encoders to cloud-based ingest, production, and distribution platforms.
