The Tom Cruise starrer filmed iconic scenes at the Burj Khalifa for 'MI 4': Ghost Protocol in 2011.
Mission Impossible 7’s director Christopher McQuarrie has confirmed that he is currently in the UAE by posting a picture of the Abu Dhabi skyline on his Instagram account, early on Thursday morning, giving fans cause to believe that the series’s latest instalment will be shot in Abu Dhabi soon.
Rumours were rife that the crew will start filming in Dubai post their Italy schedule, which ended in December 2020. Though COVID-19 has caused palpable delays in production, the film’s seventh and eighth parts are being filmed in conjunction. Confirmed locations include Norway, London, Rome and Venice.
The crew, however, has neither confirmed nor denied these rumours of shoot relocation to the UAE.
