ViewSat are pleased to provide additional capabilities for their customers with television channels and are now offering cost effective web streaming as a compliment to their existing satellite distribution capacity.
Whilst consistently at the forefront of technological advancements in broadcasting, ViewSat, through its partnership with Vision247, now provides a complete video capture and in-house multi-bit rate encoding for adaptive streaming via web connected devices.
Awaes Jaswal, CEO, ViewSat says, We are happy to strategically partner with Vision247 to offer our customers our high quality broadcast to a range of new devices, opening up their channel content to an even greater global audience. Providing global web streaming capabilities is an important step in ViewSats continued growth, whilst maintaining the quality, reliability and service that our existing customers are used to.
The television channels can now be streamed over the web, delivered via an embedded flash player, and transcoded to that anyone with access to a PC or an iOS/Android connected mobile devices will be able to watch live streamed programming from ViewSat wherever they are.
In choosing to expand our offering into web streaming, ViewSat prove that this service can work in unison with our existing, successful offerings, such as satellite and fibre content delivery. Mr. Jaswal continues, this is turn provides our customers with even greater choice and flexibility in their output platforms, without compromising on quality and reliability during transmission.
