FIAT/IFTA (International Federation of Television Archives) World Conference in Dubai. The aim of this annual event is to provide the FIAT / IFTA members an international platform to share their knowledge and experience in the television archives.
With his presentation Its more than just technology Jürgen Loos demonstrated to the participants a case study on the selection and implementation of a company-wide media asset management system at the important Arab broadcaster MBC Group, Dubai. Focus of the presentation was to inform of the approach to this project and to address the changing production processes at MBC and resulting impacts on the employees in various areas of the broadcast station.
BFE has supported the event as a Platinum Sponsor and, on this occasion, presented itself as a German system integrator.

The Fédération Internationale des Archives de Télévision/The International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA) promotes the cooperation among television archives, multimedia and audiovisual archives and libraries, and all those engaged in the preservation and exploitation of moving image and recorded sound materials and associated documentation.
