Ramadan is a busy month for broadcasters with special programming to engage the viewers. Tviews recent reports on channel viewership in the UAE indicate MBC 1 as the clear winner in the TRP race. With its TRP at 315.4, MBC 1 has a 9.11 share of the viewership pie among Emiratis. It is followed by Sama Dubai, MBC Drama and Dubai TV.
While MBC 1 continues to lead the pack for other demographic groups as well, MBC Drama overtakes Sama Dubai among the locals and Arabs.
Top channel viewership among all households is also led by MBC 1, followed by MBC 2, MBC Drama and MBC Max. The Asianet channels also feature among the top five viewed channels in all household.
