The Royal Film Commission – Jordan is calling film students and aspiring filmmakers to participate in its upcoming digital filmmaking workshop. The digital filmmaking workshop is being held for the 13th consecutive year and will offer a full-time programme to be conducted over a period of three weeks. The key focus of the workshop will be developing the participants technical skills and upgrading their knowledge to a professional level.
Participants will learn new methods of script writing, production and direction under the supervision of experienced mentors. Editing, sound design and cinematography will also be covered as part of the workshop, which will be held from July 6 to July 27, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Participants will have a chance to produce their own short film, which will give them an opportunity to participate in regional and international film festivals. The medium of instruction for this workshop will be English and Arabic.
