Global IoT solutions provider, Quectel Wireless Solutions, has achieved certification for its NTN-enabled module, the CC660D-LS, on Skylo’s non-terrestrial network (NTN). This milestone marks the first certification granted by Skylo for IoT devices utilising Quectel’s module, ensuring seamless and reliable IoT-NTN connectivity in diverse environments.
Quectel’s CC660D-LS module is purpose-built to deliver robust and efficient two-way satellite communication capabilities. The CC660D-LS module offers versatile connectivity options, including L-band, S-band, and Band 23 connections. Noteworthy is its support for 3GPP Release 17 IoT non-terrestrial network (IoT-NTN) connections, showcasing advanced capabilities.
