The site also offers a range of entertainment options and facilities, featuring a dedicated cinema facility by AMC boasting 10 screens, and interconnected spaces hosting an array of restaurants, cafes, and retail outlets.
Saudi Entertainment Ventures, a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, is embarking on a new project in the Aseer region. The company is investing SAR1.3bn ($347.8m) in SEVEN Abha, an entertainment destination strategically positioned between Abha and Khamis Mushait, adjacent to Abha International Airport.
The development is set on a land size of 64,000 sqm with a built-up area of more than 79,000 sqm. The architectural marvel, designed by global firm Gensler, draws inspiration from the ancient stone structures of Aseer, aligning with the principles of The Urban Code of Aseer Region.
SEVEN Abha promises an array of attractions, including a family entertainment centre with arcade games and world-class rides, a Discovery Adventures jungle-themed edutainment attraction in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, a PLAY-DOH-themed entertainment centre licensed by Hasbro, and a state-of-the-art 12-hole indoor golf adventure area.
The multipurpose venue will host live entertainment events, feature indoor e-karting on multi-level tracks, introduce a futuristic 10-lane bowling concept, and offer a 10-screen cinema from AMC. SEVEN Abha aims to provide a holistic experience, blending entertainment, retail, and food & beverage offerings.
Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Chairman of Aseer Development Authority, said: “Aseer region is witnessing an unprecedented renaissance across different sectors and verticals through the endless support from our leadership.
