Global pay TV operator SPI International has launched its Funbox 4K/UHD channel on Turkeys largest mobile operator Turkcell. Another five TV channels have been added to the current line-up.
Turkcell TV+ is available through a number of platforms including IPTV, online and mobile as well as video-on-demand (VOD) programming.
The station recently introduced a 4KTV set-top box (STB) and started broadcasting Funbox 4K/UHD as the first IPTV platform broadcasting Ultra HD channels in Turkey. Its subscribers also have access to FilmBox Turkey, a film channel presenting a variety of international blockbusters and popular TV series. It offers fans of world cinema classic works by renowned filmmakers as Fellini, Kurosawa, Hitchcock, in addition to a selection of independent productions and festival films showcased on FilmBox Art House. The extended line-up also includes 360TuneBox HD, an international music channel showcasing independent music artists from all over the world and music videos.
