Egyptian production company Synergy will release a series called COVID-25 this Ramadan 2021, according to a report in Egypt Today.
The 15-episode series, written by Engy Alaa and directed by Ahmed Galal, will see Egyptian superstar Youssef el Sherif play the lead role.
Synergy released its first science fiction series El Nehaya (The End) last Ramadan with Youssef el-Sherif again playing a key role. The series, which was screened on Watch It, and ON TV channels, is said to have been well received by audiences.
