IPTV Platform integrates secure real-time content delivery with highly personalised user experiences in TiVo's end-to-end solution.
TiVo, renowned for its IPTV platform catering to pay-TV and telecom operators in North and Latin America for nearly half a decade, is now venturing into the EMEA region. This strategic extension broadens the reach of its end-to-end IPTV solution, combining secure real-time content delivery with personalised user experiences.
The amplified coverage empowers operators to efficiently provide video services that elevate the end-user journey and foster increased customer interaction. In a market witnessing remarkable growth, TiVo recognises the IPTV sector’s potential, driven by operators seeking to enrich their offerings and bolster customer loyalty.
As per a recent Reportlinker analysis, the global IPTV market is projected to amass a valuation of $83.8bn by 2030, manifesting a robust CAGR of 5.8%. Delving specifically into EMEA, Omdia Research anticipates IPTV’s revenue share to soar to 39.30% by 2030. TiVo’s dynamic IPTV platform offers broadband and cable operators a cost-effective avenue to furnish cutting-edge video services while introducing competitive features and novel video strategies. Through this platform, operators can assemble their services, granting access to both linear channels and streaming applications.
Notably, TiVo’s IPTV platform has recently welcomed an additional 150,000 subscribers in Q2 2023.
Illustrating its prowess in the field, TiVo’s long-standing tradition of releasing the Video Trends Report, hitherto concentrated in North America, underscores its expertise. The upcoming IBC 2023 event in Amsterdam will witness the unveiling of the inaugural UK Video Trends Report, extending insights to operators and content providers.
Key findings from the imminent report underscore significant opportunities for operators, particularly in content discovery. With UK consumers engaging with an average of six video services, and a substantial majority navigating multiple apps or video sources within a single viewing session, the potential for streamlined experiences is evident. Moreover, the report reveals that 67% of respondents find the process of navigating through multiple apps before selecting content somewhat irksome. Financially, 57% of UK consumers hold pay-TV subscriptions, while 42% resort to AVOD services.
TiVo’s stride into the EMEA IPTV landscape builds upon its established presence in the region, where it has consistently provided content discovery solutions to broadband, cable, and telecommunications enterprises.
