The Arabic and Muslim Vision TV Network will be located on Freeview channel 115. These new channels will be free for the initial two months for all viewers with a FreeviewHD enabled television set or set top box and a home broadband connection.
Free to view Al Arabiya channel will broadcast news talk and debate. The Arabia One package will provide family entertainment from Dubai TV, Al Jadeed, MBC, LBC Europe, OTV, to Murr TV and the womens lifestyle channel Al Aan TV. Films will be found on Melody Aflam, series and sitcoms on Melody Drama, comedy on Moga, music on Melody Hits and a full line-up of sport with Melody Sports. Al Baghdadia will complete the package with the latest news and debate from Iraq.

John Mills, the CEO of Vision247 said: With half a million Arabic speakers and close to three million Muslims residing in the UK today, there is a need for dedicated broadcasting to support the cultural heritage and beliefs of this audience. Through Freeview we are able to extend this viewing choice into the comfort of every living room.
Arabia One and MuslimTV channel packages will be available on a subscription basis. The first two months offer a free trial, followed by six months half price. Monthly subscription packages start from just seven USD and Al Arabiya is free to view.
Older devices or FreeviewHD devices not connected to the internet will receive on-screen tips advising viewers on what to do in order to view the new internet delivered channels.
