In addition, Vox Cinemas has just opened a state-of-the-art multiplex at The Spot – Sheikh Jaber in Riyadh and will open a new location in Jubail later this year.
Vox Cinemas has opened its ninth integrated movie theatre at The Esplanade, Riyadh
Situated at Riyadh’s shopping and luxury lifestyle destination, Vox Cinemas The Esplanade is an integrated family entertainment destination with concepts including Yalla! Bowling and a selection of games, including billiard tables and air hockey.
The eight-screen multiplex features four standard screens, two gold auditoriums, a kids’ theatre and a Max auditorium for a variety of high-end cinematic experiences.
Since opening the first multiplex in Riyadh in 2018, Vox Cinemas has rapidly expanded to nine locations in the capital within just three years. The launch of Vox Cinemas The Esplanade marks Vox Cinemas’ third opening with long-term partners Unified Real Estate Development Company, the shopping centre developer in Saudi Arabia.

In April, Vox Cinemas opened the first-ever multiplex in H’ail in collaboration with Unified Real Estate Development Company. They also have a location together at Town Square in Jeddah.
Vox Cinemas now has a total of 149 screens across 14 movie theatres in five cities, making it the largest exhibitor by screen count, admissions and market share, and the largest independent distributor in the Kingdom.
