VOX Cinemas will open first-of-its kind cinema complex in the upmarket BurJuman Centre. Featuring 14-screens, VOX Cinemas will be introducing the mega-screen VOX MAX and VOX Plus premium concepts to the community, giving residents the ultimate in convenience to choose their preferred way of enjoying movies. Set to open in 2014, VOX Cinemas will provide a boost to the entertainment options for the continually developing areas surrounding Bur Dubai.
VOX Cinemas is excited to confirm our next cinema location, in the BurJuman shopping mall, which will provide an enhanced movie-going experience for the Bur Dubai community, said Cameron Mitchell, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas. VOX Cinemas is investing in the latest digital cinema technology for this location, including our popular VOX MAX and VOX Plus concepts, ensuring convenience of choice and a state-of-the-art cinematic experience. VOX Cinemas is delighted to partner with the BurJuman Centre, and is thankful for the phenomenal support and enthusiasm that the BurJuman team have for the malls exciting upgrade and rejuvenation.
The new VOX Cinemas at BurJuman will boast 100% digital screens, with the majority of screens 3D enabled. Movie-buffs will also be able to enjoy their favourite blockbusters with the mega-screen VOX MAX concept, which features ultra-comfortable MAX VIP seats and the newly released Dolby Atmos digital surround sound, for a truly immersive experience. Those looking for a more exclusive experience can do so with four VOX Plus screens, complete with luxurious VIP seats and a full restaurant-style gourmet menu.

This year, VOX Cinemas opened new locations in Fujairah City Centre the largest in the emirate, a new VIP cinema concept in Mercato and at Beirut City Centre, Lebanon’s largest cinema. Later this month, VOX Cinemas will open its ninth cinema location in the expanding Al Hamra Mall, Ras Al Khaimah, taking the company’s screen count to 92 screens across five emirates in the UAE and in Lebanon.
