On 28th February 2012, YahLive, the UAE satellite based company and Abu Dhabi Media announced an exclusive partnership to broadcast six of Abu Dhabi Media’s channels in HD through YahLive’s satellite service.
The agreement was signed by the Abu Dhabi Media’s CEO, Malcom Wall, and YahLive’s CEO Mohamed Youssif during CABSAT.
Viewers across the MENA region, with access to YahLive, will now be able to access their favourite Abu Dhabi programmes in HD.
On signing the partnership, Abu Dhabi Media’s CEO, Malcom Wall, said: “We are delighted to announce this exclusive partnership with YahLive, as it confirms our commitment to always offer our viewers the highest quality TV experience. With our new HD channels, available on YahLive, audiences across the Arab region can now enjoy Abu Dhabi’s leading channels all in HD.”
YahLive’s CEO Mohamed Youssif also commented: The signing of this agreement is another example of YahLive fulfilling its ambition to be the region’s leading satellite service provider of HD.
