Yalla Green Mobility aims to inspire change by promoting awareness, community engagement and eco-innovation.
Yalla TV, the UAE’s media house, has launched Yalla Green Mobility (YGM), a nationwide initiative aimed at advancing sustainability and aligning with the country’s Net Zero 2050 strategic vision. This new effort underscores the media company’s belief that media can act as a powerful agent of environmental change, not just a passive commentator.
Set to roll out throughout 2025 and beyond, Yalla Green Mobility will feature a range of interactive activities designed to raise awareness, foster community involvement, and encourage eco-innovation. The initiative will spotlight future-focused mobility solutions and create space for meaningful dialogue and engagement around sustainable living.
From showcasing electric and hybrid vehicle technology to launching creative media series and digital campaigns featuring sustainability champions, YGM aims to make environmental consciousness part of everyday life. Community events, educational programmes and green campaigns will form the core of the initiative, with a strong emphasis on partnerships across government, educational institutions and progressive brands.
Barbie Nuki, Founder and CEO of Yalla TV and Director and Founder of Yalla Green Mobility, said: “We believe media is not just a mirror to society, but a driver of meaningful transformation. With Yalla Green Mobility, we are not only reaffirming our commitment to the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 initiative but also bringing the conversation around sustainability into everyday lives — through experience, education, and empowerment.”
Positioned as more than just a campaign, YGM is being framed as a movement — one that calls on individuals and institutions alike to join in shaping a greener, more sustainable future. By connecting innovation with action, Yalla TV hopes to cultivate a platform where ideas flourish, partnerships are forged, and collective efforts create real impact as the UAE accelerates its sustainability agenda.
