Yango Play, in collaboration with United Media Services (UMS), has announced the official launch date of its upcoming drama series Qesmet El Adl, which is set to premiere exclusively on the Yango Play app on January 17.
The series tackles the sensitive and widely debated issue of equality in inheritance between men and women, exploring the social and legal complexities that emerge from such decisions. According to the official trailer, tensions escalate within a family after the father chooses to divide his inheritance equally among his children in an effort to strengthen family bonds. Instead, the decision sparks intense disputes among the siblings, with conflicts spiraling to a dramatic climax that leads to the imprisonment of Mariam, portrayed by actress Eman El-Assi.
Qesmet El Adl features Khaled Kamal, Rushdi El-Shami, Mohamed Gomaa, Khaled Anwar, Abed Anani, Olft Emam, Enas Kamel, Doaa Hakam, Karim Al-Emari, Alaa Qouqa and Donia Maher. The series will be released in January and will be available exclusively on the Yango Play app, allowing viewers to watch episodes immediately upon release in high-quality streaming.
The drama will air six days a week, from Saturday to Thursday, at 7:30 pm Cairo time, giving audiences the chance to closely follow the unfolding events as they are released on the platform.
