SpeakerCraft, Americas original manufacturer of in-wall speakers announced a line of 43 new flangeless loudspeakers for both in-wall and in-ceiling applications. The Profile series takes advantage of audio technology made famous by the AIM line, allowing you to direct the sound toward the listening area. The new AIM Profile grilles come in both square and round types allowing for a round speaker to have the option of a square or round grille.
Using neodymium magnets to attach the grille, the speakers install in just seconds. Theres no bezel or visible mounting flange. All you see is a grille, which can be painted to match the wall or ceiling. The system design allows dealers to reduce stocking multiple speaker shapes, fit and finishes. The Profile series saves a great amount of time in the painting process since the grille can be easily removed to paint and there is no flange to paint on the speaker itself.
Profile grille options are a rad solution for integrators as they look great and reduce the cost of doing business as you only stock one product and then attach the grille. The old skool rectangular look is no longer mandatory. This is the best line of speakers weve ever created, said Jeremy Burkhardt, the companys president. They barely even look like speakers. They look more like shadows and thats if you notice them at all, which no one probably will unless theyre just insatiably curious about where all that great sound is coming from.
The Profile series of 43 new speakers of SpeakerCrafts most popular models in both round, square and rectangular versions. The driver compliments match the corresponding flanged models. In 2012 they will be further expanding the range with an additional 22 models.
