At IBC 2024, Appear has announced significant enhancements to its HEVC and AVC compression solutions, achieving up to a 73% improvement in latency performance without sacrificing picture quality. These advancements, delivered through Appear’s X Platform, extend the capabilities of its compression suite, which powers live content across ground-to-ground and cloud-to-ground production infrastructures.
