Atomos has strengthened its partnership with Frame.io and Adobe to enhance camera-to-cloud workflows, offering new cloud-based tools and services through its monitor-recorders. This collaboration aims to speed up video production turnaround times and improve remote collaboration on creative projects.
Announced at IBC, the latest free firmware update allows connected Ninja or Shogun devices to send footage directly to Frame.io V4 without needing to upload through Atomos Cloud Studio. Additionally, Ninja Phone users can already upload footage directly via the iPhone app, with a firmware upgrade for Camera-to-Cloud (C2C) connectivity coming soon.
Jeromy Young, CEO of Atomos, said: “Adobe has been pivotal in helping Atomos to maximise the benefits of cloud-enabled monitor-recorders. We’ve worked together on many prestigious projects, including the Sundance Film Festival and the BRIT Awards, to get footage to social media faster than ever before. Making the integration seamless across a range of our devices represents another step change in the evolution of camera to cloud.”
Frame.io V4 is a fast, intuitive creative collaboration platform designed to simplify workflows across content creation and production. By centralising feedback and reducing rounds of revisions, Frame.io V4 accelerates media asset delivery, especially when paired with Atomos devices. This integration helps creative teams streamline their workflows, from capture to final content delivery.
To celebrate the new integration, Atomos and Adobe are offering a three-month trial of Frame.io V4 beta with any Camera-to-Cloud-enabled Atomos monitor-recorder purchase. This offer applies to new Frame.io accounts. Additionally, Ninja Ultra will be available for €649 and Shogun Ultra for €999 (excluding taxes) for a limited time.
