Azur Drones, Advanced Media Trading and Dubai Police have announced a collaboration for the deployment of automated surveillance drones in the United Arab Emirates. Azur Drones, AMT and Dubai Police signed a Memorandum of Understanding during GITEX.
Dubai Police is slated to deploy automated surveillance drones in order to increase safety, in both day and night environments. To this end, Dubai Police decided to join forces with Azur Drones and its local partner Advanced Media Trading, to deploy drones in a city for safety purposes for the first time in the world.
SKEYETECH system has been developed in France by Azur Drones R&D team in order to strengthen protection of industrial sites, strategic key locations or public areas. With its recharging base, SKEYETECH drone is operational 24/7, without any human intervention, the release stated.
Remotely operated by security forces, they can take-off at any time in order to perform quick situational assessments or to support intervention teams on the ground. Thanks to their reactivity and high-performance optical and thermal sensors, the release stated, they improve security forces responsiveness without jeopardising their safety.
