Display technology specialist, Densitron, is returning to IBC with variants to its UReady family of TFT rackmount displays and a selection of monitors suited for mixing desk and studio use.
IBC visitors will be able to witness enhancements in three zones; rack, mixing desk and studio.
Launched earlier in 2018, Densitrons UReady TFT rackmount display range for integration into 1U, 2U and 3U rackmount systems will welcome new variants to the family. These aim to fill a gap in the market and reduce rack space within a broadcast environment, the release stated.
Demonstrated on stand at IBC the UReady range will expand to be suitable for 3U racks, and will also show how Densitron has updated its haptic touch technology, to integrate with mechanical buttons for users who need blind operation.
Densitron is showcasing a number of open frame monitors, in particular three new sizes of bar-cut TFT displays, which reportedly make efficient use of space at mixing desks, without any compromise on resolution. In addition, this area will demonstrate Densitrons in-house designed, fanless x86 PC systems for performance in a quiet control room environment.
Densitron will once again be sharing its stand with its partner, IPE Technologies, the designer and provider of hardware and software solutions to global broadcasters. Densitron and IPE are working closely on projects and will be showcasing IDS integrated into the popular bar/cut monitors from Densitrons offering.
Almost 12 months on from IBC 2017, Densitron has gone from introducing prototypes to the market, where in this time we gained crucial user feedback, to now being able to showcase real production models, highlighting our dedication to respond to the sectors demands, says Chris Goodhall, Densitrons global business development director Broadcast.
By investing in the development of original touch and display technologies at our production facility in Taiwan, as well as our partner relationships, we are continuing to address gaps in the industry. Weve created products designed to allow broadcast users to have a more streamlined and efficient workflow, whether thats through instant button feedback or clearer screen displays, to ensure our solutions easily integrate into their day-to-day roles, adds Goodhall.
