Grass Valley has introduced its latest innovation, the T3 Series 4K/HD standalone player/recorder, at the NAB Show 2024. This all-in-one system integrates recording, playback, transcoding, and more into a single device, offering enhanced efficiency and simplicity in production workflows.
Designed to streamline setup and operation, the T3 operates as a standalone unit while also seamlessly integrating into larger production environments with support for various control protocols. With the capability for simultaneous recording and playback of up to two channels of 4K video or three channels of HD, the T3 meets the demands of on-location live event production with ease.
As the successor to Grass Valley’s standalone T2 4K Series digital recorder/player, the T3 builds upon its predecessor’s performance and capabilities. It boasts rugged construction, internal support for multiple codecs, and an intuitive user interface, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including broadcasters, TV production studios, corporate A/V environments, and more.

Featuring a more compact chassis and optional GPU acceleration for enhanced flexibility, the T3 Series offers improved hosting capabilities with a 20% reduction in rack depth compared to its predecessor. Its user-friendly playlist operation makes it a better solution for various customers, including live event production companies, CATV service providers, and sports stadiums.
