The film is co-produced by Front Row’s Yalla Yalla unit with Egypt’s Film Clinic and Lebanon’s Empire Entertainment.
Front Row/KNCC and Empire will distribute the film in the Gulf and Levant.
'Al Gawahergy' is written by Omar Taher and directed by Islam Khairy.
Helmy in his new role will focus on promoting child rights and awareness on early childhood development issues in the region.
The shoot was postponed twice in 2020 due to COVID and political turmoil in Lebanon.
