OSN raised the bar for sport way back in 2007 when it first acquired the rights to the English Premier League. Since then, it has changed the way sport has been presented in the region right from producing sport all the way to its delivery on screen. In just the last year, it has broadcast more than 11,000 hours of live sport including the 2012 London Olympics. The most impressive, however, was its coverage of International Rugby and the HD studio programmes it developed around International Rugby. Andy Warkman (l), Head of Sport at OSN receives the award from Walid AlBakoush, GM of First Gulf Company.
