The Dubai Press Club (DPC), in collaboration with Dubai Media Academy, has launched a specialised training programme to explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into media strategies. The initiative reflects DPC’s commitment to staying ahead of digital trends and advancing the region’s media sector.
The programme, designed to enhance the capabilities of media professionals, aimed to accelerate the adoption of AI tools and empower participants to leverage the transformative potential of AI in their work. Through a series of interactive workshops and knowledge sessions, participants gained insights and practical skills to create innovative solutions in media operations.

She emphasised that the programme offered an ideal platform to develop innovative media models leveraging AI, while facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge among participants.
The programme featured thought-provoking sessions led by industry leaders and experts. One session, titled From Lab to Newsroom: Success Stories of AI in Media, highlighted practical case studies from renowned organisations like Forbes, CNBC Arabia and Dubai Media, showcasing real-world applications of AI in content creation, analytics and distribution.
Another session, The Turning Point: Addressing AI’s Growing Challenges in Media, brought together experts from Dell Technologies, Sky News Arabia, Asharq News and Al Bayan newspaper. Discussions centred on pressing challenges such as combating misinformation, bridging linguistic gaps and ensuring fairness in AI-driven media practices.
The joint programme underscored DPC and Dubai Media Academy’s shared commitment to driving innovation in the media sector while addressing the ethical and operational risks associated with AI. Participants are left equipped with the tools and knowledge to integrate AI effectively into their strategies, paving the way for a more advanced and resilient media ecosystem.
