Imagine Communications, a provider of ad tech solutions for TV broadcast, has announced a major enhancement to its partnership with Google Ad Manager. This collaboration plays a key role in Imagine’s strategy to develop integrated solutions for linear TV, streaming and video-on-demand (VOD), accelerating the media industry’s shift towards Total TV—a unified approach to both live and non-live content.
The partnership bridges traditional linear TV sales with dynamic, programmatic digital sales. The latest advancement integrates Imagine’s Landmark Sales ad-management platform with Google Ad Manager, allowing media companies to seamlessly manage linear and digital monetisation through a single solution. This integration simplifies operations by enabling unified campaign management across multiple platforms, helping companies move towards holistic optimisation across all media. The new collaboration will debut at IBC 2024, from September 13-16 in Amsterdam.

This bidirectional integration enables campaigns created in Landmark Sales to be securely transmitted to Google Ad Manager, including all campaign details such as headers, order lines, targeting, impression goals and pricing. Media companies can easily manage various types of ad campaigns—video, display, programmatic guaranteed/direct—while retrieving impression data from Google Ad Manager to track campaign pacing and handle billing.
Landmark Sales users will now have greater visibility across linear and digital platforms, including web, Connected TV (CTV) and VOD, fostering uniform workflows for cross-platform campaigns, reporting and data management.
This enhancement builds on a previous collaboration, where Imagine integrated its SureFire video ad server with Google Ad Manager to unify the management of direct and programmatic ad sales, regardless of deal type.
