Offering free live channels, movies, and exclusive programming in both Arabic and English, LG Channels enhances the entertainment experience for viewers across the UAE.
LG Electronics has rolled out LG Channels in the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant step in its ongoing effort to enhance home entertainment with greater accessibility and diverse viewing choices. The service is now available on all LG Smart TVs across the UAE, with broader Middle East expansion planned soon.
LG Channels offers viewers free access to live TV, popular films and exclusive programming without requiring subscriptions or additional fees. Users can simply switch on their LG Smart TV, press the Home button and open the LG Channels app from the launch bar to begin browsing a wide selection of round-the-clock content designed to appeal to every type of viewer.
The platform features an extensive list of channels spanning news, sports, entertainment, movies, children’s programming, documentaries and lifestyle. Among the prominent offerings are Bloomberg, Euronews, Zee Alwan, Zee Aflam, Smashi TV, Lovin TV and eight FAST channels from Watch IT, with more additions expected.
To ensure a seamless experience for UAE audiences, the service has been fully localised with an interface that supports right-to-left navigation, along with content and customer support available in both Arabic and English. The official launch follows its first public showcase at the K-Expo event at Dubai’s Global Village, where attendees explored the newly customised webOS version of the platform through live demonstrations and interactive installations. The activation drew strong interest, reflecting the region’s enthusiasm for accessible, free content.
With the introduction of LG Channels in the UAE, the company is reinforcing its regional digital ecosystem by offering a streamlined, subscription-free entertainment hub directly through LG Smart TVs. The initiative aligns with LG’s global strategy to expand its free content footprint, which now spans 33 countries and features more than 4,000 channels worldwide, bringing an extensive array of entertainment straight into consumers’ homes.
