Celestia TTIs presence at CABSAT signals its intent to expand its footprint in the Middle East and connect with a wider audience of industry professionals seeking next-generation satcom solutions.
Celestia TTI, a global leader in advanced satellite communication technologies, is making its debut appearance at CABSAT with the unveiling of its next-generation solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs) and block upconverters (BUCs), engineered with state-of-the-art Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. These solutions, designed specifically for broadcast satcom, are positioned to redefine industry standards in both performance and connectivity.
With nearly three decades of expertise in delivering high-performance satellite communication systems, Celestia TTI is known for combining cutting-edge engineering with a strong focus on reliability and cost-efficiency. Its latest lineup of SSPAs and BUCs builds on this legacy, offering powerful, flexible, and durable solutions that are capable of operating continuously in the harshest conditions, around the clock.
A highlight of the companys showcase is the Super Extended GaN Ku SSPA, the only device on the market to cover the entire Ku-band spectrumfrom 12.75 GHz to 14.5 GHzwithin a single unit. This exclusive product is designed to support advanced communications applications and meets growing demand from operators for extended frequency range, high linear power output, and robust multicarrier operation. Its impressive durability and high mean time between failures (MTBF), combined with energy efficiency, compact size, and ease of maintenance, make it suited for outdoor broadcast environments where performance and reliability are critical.
Like all SSPAs developed by Celestia TTI, the new units include fully configurable automatic control modes, enabling users to manage AGC (Automatic Gain Control) or ALC (Automatic Level Control) settings through an intuitive web interface or direct commands. This added flexibility ensures that users can tailor performance to meet the specific demands of their operations, regardless of external conditions.
In addition to the Ku-band offering, Celestia TTI is also introducing its High Power Phase-combined GaN SSPAs, designed for Ku, DBS, and C band broadcast applications. As the only manufacturer capable of delivering ultra-high-power GaN SSPAs with output levels reaching several kilowatts, the company is setting a new benchmark for performance in the satcom market. These amplifiers not only surpass traditional technologies like travelling-wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) and klystrons in terms of power and durability, but also deliver significant operational cost savings. By reducing electricity consumption by up to 50% in multicarrier high-power uplinks, and minimising infrastructure requirements, Celestia TTIs solutions help operators cut both capital and operational expenditures while lowering their environmental impact.
