Four different zones will be available for visitors to explore Sennheiser Group's advanced content production solutions.
At IBC, Sennheiser, Neumann, Dear Reality, and Merging Technologies are set to showcase cutting-edge immersive production workflows and solutions for audio capture, monitoring, and processing.
The space will feature four distinct zones designed for exploring advanced content production solutions including the immersive presentation zone; active and passive product islands; a dedicated Neumann area; and a separate zone for Wireless Multichannel Audio Systems (WMAS).
In the immersive presentation zone, which is powered by a 5.1.4 Neumann monitor set-up with nine KH 150 monitor loudspeakers and two KH 750 DSP subwoofers, guests will be able to get hands-on with the Dolby Atmos/immersive broadcast workflows facilitated by the products of Merging Technologies, the latest member to join the Sennheiser Group. The company shows their Anubis, Hapi, Pyramix and Ovation solutions integrated in typical broadcast workflows. In addition to their new Dolby Atmos-certified monitoring package, Merging Technologies will show a brand-new interpretation solution.
This area will also provide an opportunity to experience Dear Reality’s dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT for Wwise, a software previewed for the first time at IBC. The software streamlines audio development in VR or AR gaming environments, eliminating the need to switch between systems for game designers. The in-game mixing workflow will revolutionize in-headset control of Wwise audio middleware sessions, enhancing next-gen XR productions.
Other highlights in this section encompass AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio for live production, employing an Anubis for creating an enriched immersive stereo feed, and informative sessions on Sennheiser’s broadband wireless technology, WMAS.
Throughout the exhibition stand, product islands will emphasise different aspects of the audio production process. These include location-independent multichannel format monitoring facilitated by Dear Reality’s dearVR PRO spatializer and dearVR MONITOR with quality monitoring headphones.
The Sennheiser wireless audio solutions spotlight the Evolution Wireless Digital family, accompanied by the Smart Assist app and WSM software. A special focus is on the new EW-DP series tailored for broadcasters (ENG), videographers, and filmmakers, featuring a plug-on transmitter with recording capabilities available at the end of October. ENG work showcases Sennheiser’s 1.9 GHz solution AVX, while EW-DX and Digital 6000 wireless microphone systems cater to live audio production and broadcast studio applications.
In the Neumann.Berlin area, the spotlight shines on the MT 48 audio interface and a diverse range of classical studio microphones. Visitors can explore the Neumann NDH 20 and NDH 30 by listening to music from their smartphones, including the forthcoming black version of the NDH 30, set for September release.
For live audio applications, Neumann’s KM small-diaphragm mics and the MCM Miniature Clip Mic System will be on display, complemented by dedicated mounting accessories.
In a separate, exclusive experience space across the aisle (8C47), VIP customers will access demonstrations and insights into WMAS, a game-changing broadband wireless technology under Sennheiser’s development. Main stand presentations on the technology will be available on Friday afternoon and Saturday during the show.
