Industry leaders from ABC, Fremantle, ITV, NBCUniversal, Sling TV, YouTube and Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed as speakers at IBC Conference.
IBC has officially opened registration for its 2025 edition, set to take place at the RAI Amsterdam from September 12 to 15. As one of the media and entertainment industry’s most influential international events, IBC brings together professionals across broadcasting, streaming, technology and content creation to explore the latest trends, innovations, and commercial opportunities shaping the future of the sector.
Promising a four-day exhibition and a three-day conference, IBC2025 is positioned to offer insight and networking opportunities at a time of major transformation within the global media and entertainment (M&E) ecosystem.
Michael Crimp, Chief Executive Officer of IBC, said: “IBC2025 is primed to be the definitive event this year for a global industry undergoing profound change. As new technologies reshape content production and delivery, we provide the opportunity for the entire global M&E industry to explore what’s next, connect with key players, and navigate the commercial and creative challenges ahead. With a growing innovation footprint, the industry’s best tech on show, and a world-class conference speaker line-up, IBC2025 will empower our community to shape the industry’s future.”
Steve Connolly, Director, IBC, added: “We’re seeing strong momentum from across the market. This year’s show will continue to bring together every corner of the global M&E industry under one roof — from visionary start-ups to the most established global media and technology brands. Both exhibitors and visitors know that IBC is where strategic conversations turn into partnerships, and where the industry’s next wave of growth is already taking shape.”
The event will showcase breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, private 5G networks, immersive experiences, dynamic ad insertion, cloud-native workflows and sustainable and virtual production. With nearly 44,000 sqm already booked across 14 halls, the show floor will highlight both established industry leaders and disruptive newcomers. Returning exhibitors include Adobe, AWS, Avid, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Sony and Microsoft, while new participants such as Cachefly, OTT Solutions, and Raysync signal IBC’s growing innovation footprint.
Hall 14 will see an expansion to accommodate heightened interest in cutting-edge technologies, hosting new special features alongside the return of the Accelerator Zone. The IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme will present demonstrations of real-world, collaborative tech solutions tackling critical industry challenges.
