Apple’s streaming video service, Apple TV+ will launch today with the countdown set for 9 PM GST (Gulf Standard Time)/1 PM ET.
The Apple TV+ service will cost $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial available to everyone, and a full year of free subscription for those who have purchased an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac after September 10, 2019, when the service was first announced.
iOS and macOS users can download the videos for offline viewing and Apple claims that some of its content will have 4K quality with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
At present, each TV+ subscription can be used on six accounts using Family sharing, each with their own profile and preferences.
Apple’s original TV shows and movies are also viewable on the web at tv.apple.com.
Some of the new shows on the service include The Morning Show, See, Dickinson, For All Mankind, Helpsters, Snoopy in Space, Ghostwriter and The Elephant Queen among others.
