Saudi Telecom Company (STC), represented by its enterprise focused business unit, STC Business, and Tech Mahindra Ltd., a provider of digital transformation, consulting and business reengineering services, has announced a strategic alliance aimed at enabling the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in its Vision 2030 through innovations in digitisation targeting a broad spectrum of sectors.
The alliance will leverage STCs cloud and IoT platforms, its expansive national backbone, and the reach and penetration of its fixed and mobile networks, with the experience of Tech Mahindra across the digital spectrum, especially with its expertise in newer technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data & Analytics, Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) among others.
As a part of the Vision 2030, the KSA is looking at making the kingdom a global model of excellence on all fronts by diversifying its economy and developing public sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation, and tourism. An aspiring ICT leader with technology infrastructure and strong footprint in the region, STC is a key implementation partner for Vision 2030.
Through the alliance, the two companies will build and roll out cutting-edge digital solutions, built around the cloud, IoT and delivered across a variety of interfaces, and covering a broad spectrum of future smart city and industry specific needs in the public and private sector covering sectors such as health, oil & gas and transportation among others.
