Calrec Audio will debut two digital consoles at Cabsat 2012.
The show marks the Middle East debut of both the brand new Artemis Light console, and the award-winning Apollo console. Both consoles utilise the same core technologies of Bluefin2 and Hydra2, which equip them with an enormous routing and processing capacity.
Bluefin2, the next generation of Calrecs trademark Bluefin High Density Signal Processing platform, provides substantial resources, with 1020 channel processing paths on the Apollo and 240 on the Artemis Light.
Both consoles have a dedicated integrated router so that its I/O functions can be performed by Calrecs next-generation networking system, Hydra2. Hydra2 uses a high capacity 8192² cross-point router and makes available a variety of I/O units to provide analog, AES, MADI, SDI and Dolby E formats.
All use copper or fibre connectivity, and can be fitted with GPIO cards.
