Williams has joined Atlas Space Operations from Viasat where he served as vice president of Real-Time Earth.
Atlas is gaining new antenna sites in Africa, Argentina, Dubai, Hawaii, New Mexico, Rwanda and South Africa.
The partnership will allow Atlas Space Operations to extend its own network of ground stations in sub-Saharan Africa.
