The Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF) has announced its sixth annual edition, which will take place 11-20 October 2012. Press and industry accreditation is now open for application.
Presented annually in October, the ADFF is dedicated to educating and engaging the local community and aspiring filmmakers. It is specifically committed to nurturing the work of Arab filmmakers.
Last month it was revealed that Ali Al Jabri will become the ADFFs festival director. Al Jabri has been with the ADFF for five years and was previously the director of the Emirates Film Competition. He has worked closely with Peter Scarlet, who has led the ADFF for the past three years when managed by ADACH.
Submissions for this years Abu Dhabi Film Festival are now closed.
To apply for press accreditation, the deadline is 2 October 2012, and for industry professionals, the deadline for accreditation is 30 September 2012. Application forms must be completed and submitted by then, following the online registration guidelines.
