"Hakkunde" is a drama-comedy that tells the tale of a graduate who has been job-hunting for over four years.
Streaming giant Netflix has acquired another Nigerian local production called Hakkunde, which will be available on its platform from January 31.
Directed by Asurf Oluseyi, the feature film was released in Nigeria back in 2017.
The film follows a graduate and the challenges that come with being unemployed in Nigerian society, while on a journey of self-discovery. The movie was filmed in Northern Nigeria and Lagos.
The film stars Frank Donga and Toyin Aimkahu along with Ali Nuhu, Rahama Sadau, Ibrahim Daddy, Maryam Booth and Bukky Ajayi.
Months after its release, Hakkunde won a merit award at The IndieFEST Film Awards. It also won the Best Nigerian Film at the African International Film Festival in 2017.
